Confused? That’s okay!

The project:

We invited 5 artists to create horse idols for our community, while wondering...would they be kind, self-absorbed, generous, or petty? Are they huge and beautiful and in the clouds, or living within our ethernet cables underground? Can they watch us through our webcams or protect us from spam emails?

The inspiriation:

domestic worship, the altars on your dresser, and how idols live on your personal laptop; plates of oranges & incense; the physicalization of the things we care about and look to for guidance

Your goal: Find (and collect) all 5 horses, IRL and/or online

How to play:

IRL:

1. Download the Artivive app here

2. Using the treasure map, clues on each of the password locked horse pages, find stickers on the streets of Toronto that look like:

3. Scan the target image (where the black square is) with Artivive to see the horse through your phone!

4. Use the password and URL on the sticker to unlock the webpage, see more facts about the horse, view the map of all locations, and download the file to give the horse diety a place to live on your phone or laptop :)
